Our games are chaotic. How we treat your data isn't. Tap a question to open it up.

The short version

Who are you, and how do I reach you?

We're Wobbly Yeti Games, the independent studio behind Yeti Spaghetti, Sled Heads, Igloo Movers Inc. and the upcoming Avalanche Brunch. This policy covers this website and our games on Steam, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation.

For anything privacy-related, write to [email protected].

What do you collect on this website?

This site has no accounts, forms or advertising. Like most websites, our hosting servers may record basic technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to keep the site running and secure. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write.

What do you collect in the games?
  • Platform info: when you play through Steam, Nintendo Switch or PlayStation, the platform shares things like your player ID and display name so online play and leaderboards work. Purchases are handled entirely by the platform; we never see your payment details.
  • Online play: Sled Heads and Igloo Movers Inc. use your player ID and connection details to match you with other players.
  • Leaderboards: Sled Heads stores your display name and race times on its weekly leaderboards.
  • Cloud saves: where a platform offers cloud saves, your progress is stored by that platform.
  • Crash and gameplay data: our games may send anonymous crash reports and basic gameplay stats (for example, which levels people quit on) to help us fix bugs.
  • Playtests: if you join a playtest, we may collect the feedback you send us and, only if you agree, recordings of your session.
What do you do with it?

We use it to run online matches and leaderboards, fix crashes, balance levels, answer your emails and run playtests. We don't use your data for targeted advertising, and our games show no ads.

Do you share or sell my data?

We do not sell personal data. Ever.

Data is shared only with the services that help us run things: the game platforms you play on, our website hosting provider, and the services that power online play and crash reporting. They may only use it to provide those services. Our community lives on Discord; anything you post there is covered by Discord's own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

What about kids?

Our games are family-friendly, but we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Online features rely on the platform's own parental controls and account rules. If you're a parent and think your child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

How long do you keep it?

Only as long as we need it. Server logs and crash reports are deleted on a regular schedule. Leaderboard entries stay up while the leaderboard runs, or until you ask us to remove them. Emails and playtest feedback are kept while they're useful for support or development, then deleted.

Can I see or delete my data?

Yes. You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within a reasonable time. Data held by a platform (Steam, Nintendo or PlayStation) or by Discord is managed through that service's own settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Will this policy change?

Probably, as we launch new games or features. When we update it, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and for bigger changes we'll also post a note on our Discord.
